Food Support for Vulnerable Communities in Maralal, Samburu County
In Maralal, Samburu County, many families continue to face food insecurity due to poverty, climate challenges, and limited access to resources. In response, we carried out a food distribution activity aimed at supporting vulnerable households and restoring dignity during difficult times.
This activity provided immediate relief to families struggling to meet their basic needs. Beyond the food itself, the outreach communicated care, solidarity, and reassurance that they are not forgotten.
Addressing hunger is a critical step toward empowerment. When people’s basic needs are met, they gain the strength and stability required to pursue education, livelihoods, and long-term development.
